This absurd debt exclusion/capital override will allow the town to build a tunnel that goes underneath the railroad tracks near the intersection of Route 126 and Route 135 in downtown.
Expected cost out of your right pocket (property taxes) will be in the $50 million unless the town can get the state to fund it out of your left pocket.
Plans to do something about this railroad crossing have been in the works for more years than you can shake a stick at.
